It remains unclear which locations in each state will be administering vaccines. Publix has already been distributing vaccines at select locations through a state partnership. The CDC said the eligibility requirements for vaccines distributed through the program will be determined by each state. Officials said 40,000 local and community pharmacies will eventually receive shipments, but supply will be limited at first. Distribution will begin next week. Florida is currently making vaccines available to seniors 65 and older, residents and staff at long-term care facilities and health care workers.
