Lucknow: In an effort to attract and consolidate the power of women to the old Grand Party, the top congress will provide 40% of the tickets to women in the selection of Vidhan Sabha 2022.
The National Secretary General who was responsible for the Priyanka Party Gandhi Vadra made an official announcement in this case on Tuesday at the Congress headquarters. He also said that only had he would win, he would order half a ticket for women.
Inviting women to apply for different seats until November 15, Priyanka also said that the selection of female candidates will be based on achievement. “We in the Congress Party have promised to give 40% of all tickets to female candidates in 2022 the selection of Vidhan Sabha,” Priyanka said decision.
Basically behind the steps, he said: “This decision is for every single woman who wants to change, believe in unity and abbreviation of justice … who struggle to give a better life to his family and his country.” He also registered the names of women who were interested and inspired him to make this decision. This list includes rape survivors, victims, young girls who want actual development.
