Apple has released iOS 15.0.2 as the latest update for iPhone and iPod Touch models that are compatible – less than a few weeks after bringing iOS 15.0.1. IPad users have also received iPados 15.0.2 as a new update after the release of iPados 15.0.1 earlier this month. Updates fix a wide known bug that causes photos to be saved to photo libraries from the message to disappear. Apple also released Watchos 8.0.1 for Apple watch users. It is intended to handle some bugs that greatly affect Apple Watch 3 users.
iOS 15.0.2: What’s new?
Apple iOS 15.0.2 is the second software update after iOS 15 Apple introduces last month and is the first release after iOS update 15.0.1 which fixes the problem by unlocking the iPhone using Apple Watch. The latest updates basically aim to fix bugs that affect iPhone and iPod touch users. Update iOS 15.0.2 also brings security improvements to zero vulnerabilities that allow bad actors to “execute the arbitrary code with kernel privileges”, said the company on the security page. Security defects have been identified as CVE-2021-30883. Apple said that realizing the report that the problem might have been exploited actively. Improvements are intended for iPhone 6s and then and iPod Touch (7th generation).
ipados 15.0.2: What’s new?
Just like the release of the previous iPado, iPados 15.0.2 is very similar to iOS 15.0.2 in terms of changes that it carries for iPad users. Apple Watchos 8.0.1 is the first update for Watchos 8 which was released with iOS 15 and iPados 15 months ago. It fixes some bugs associated with Apple Watch Series 3. One of the bugs causes update the progress software to not accurately display for Apple Watch series users 3. The second bug affects some Apple Watch 3 users by not displaying accessibility settings.
iOS 15.0.2, iPados 15.0.2, Watchos 8.0.1: How to download?
You can download iOS 15.0.2 on your iPhone or iPod Touch model which is eligible for iOS 15. Similarly, iPados 15.0.2 is intended for the iPad model that is eligible to be updated to iPados 15. Both iOS and iPados updates can only be downloaded by iOS. Go to Settings> General> Software updates from the device.
For Watchos 8.0.2, make sure that your Apple Watch is compatible with Watchos 8.
